Scandinavian Second hand in Copenhagen

Copenhagen is packed of good second hand stores, not very surprisingly when you look at how well people dress. My friends often ask me where to go to shop second hand and I know a lot of people love Scandinavian brands so here’s a list of stores and streets you might want to check out. And - don’t forget I also run my own online store where you can find loads of Scandinavian second hand and vintage clothes: slowstory.studio

Nørrebro

Nørrebro is the favourite area for Swedes that are looking for that hipster vibe, and Nørrebro is lovely. I suggest you walk to Elmegade and continue to Egegade. You will find stores such as Røde Kors Fremtiden, Hello Good Buy and Second Wardrobe.

A bit further down in Nørrebro you find the street Jægersborgsgade, a lovely street with stores such as Tú a tú that has a great selection of Scandinavian brands, but you’ll also find very specific stores such as the store handmaking hats, a store with all things honey and bee-related, pencils and drawing materials… you get the point.

Indre By

My favourite store in Indre By is OSV Second hand. Such a beautiful location, such a beautiful selection of clothes - even the floor in the store is amazing. You find the store on Peder Hvitfeldts Stræde 4.

Amagerbro

I keep repeating myself, but don’t forget to pay Amagerbro a visit. On Amagerbrogade you’ll find KBH Deluxe that has high-end brand mixed with some Scandinavian brands and the biggest store of them all - Tapirus that always has a great selection of Scandinavian brands.

Østerbro

I’m not too familiar with Østerbro, but there is one great store, big like a warehouse where people rent a rack to sell clothes. It’s called Lidkøb on Strynøgade 7 and you can usually find great Scandinavian pieces here as well.

Happy planet-saving shopping!
