I made a cute lilac fall dress

My lavender dream

This Saturday I had the pleasure to be at home all day. As much as I like being sociable and going out and about in my new city I really, really enjoy being at home doing crafty things all day. I bought this lilac cotton fabric at Stoff og stil on Vesterbrogade in Copenhagen. It’s an amazing store with loads of different fabrics and the prices are pretty fair. The fabric has a structure to it and is a bit thicker than regular cotton fabric, which was what I was looking for since I wanted to sew something I could wear this fall and coming winter.

I’m really happy with the result. What do you think?

I didn’t go after a specific pattern. I traced off one of my husbands T-shirts for the top part, and adjusted it to be a cropped top.

It has a nice flow and I feel like a cupcake, but comfortable, wearing it.

It had to be short so I’m able to bike fast in it.
